  • 1 cup flour (wholemeal or white)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and rolled oats.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the vegetable oil and water.
  3. Gradually pour the oil and water mixture into the flour and oats, stirring with a knife until a moist but not too sticky dough forms.
  4. Press the dough into a pie tin using the heel of your hand and your fingers, evenly covering the bottom and sides.
  5. Chill the pie crust in the refrigerator.

Once the crust is chilled, fill it with your desired pie filling and bake according to the specific pie recipe instructions.
